Workshop Career Review – building on experience

For Staff who wish to review and reflect on experience gained; to recognise internal career moves and possible new opportunities.

Overview Previously career progression has naturally presented itself building on experience gained. However, today’s flatter organisational structure and the pace of technology-driven change demands we take career ownership. Are there new opportunities? When did you last attend a training workshop? Is there a skill that needs review? Would an additional qualification broaden career opportunities?

Change and smaller teams means an increasingly busy working day. But it’s important to make time for your future – so diary a half-day to attend this key workshop.

This does not necessarily mean finding a new employer. But it does mean developing networks which raise awareness of internal opportunities, broadening knowledge and skills – identifying achievements and building on experience.

On completing this interactive workshop delegates will:

• Undertake a personal reality audit on career achievements
• Establish career objectives
• Identify personal strengths/limitations relating to a career plan
• Review and update your CV
• Develop a personal action plan

The workplace is changing – take control of your career!
Interactive workshops led by experienced facilitators, are based on the reality of the day-to-day workplace. All workshops are supported with a comprehensive workbook containing additional material for future reference.

Half-day workshops provide a flexible in-house resource which can be tweaked to reflect specific training needs. Give Di or Owen a call on 01206 506100 to talk about the possible.
